Welcome to Splash of Mahj & Color Co. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the following policies and terms.

Production Times

Every item is created especially for you once your order is placed.

Current estimated production times are:

  • Mahjong Mats & American Mahjong Tile Sets: Approximately 30 business days from the date of purchase.

  • USA-made apparel, tablecloths, dice trays, coin purses, small accessories, and select in-stock items ship separately and generally process much faster.

Production times are estimates and may vary due to order volume, holidays, customs processing, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Business days do not include weekends or holidays.

Shipping Policy

Orders ship once production has been completed.

Because many of our signature products are handcrafted and produced specifically for each customer, shipping timelines may vary.

Please note:

  • Tracking information will be emailed once your order ships.

  • Delivery dates provided by carriers are estimates only.

  • We are not responsible for carrier delays, customs inspections, weather delays, labor strikes, or other shipping interruptions outside of our control.

  • Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. Orders returned due to incorrect addresses may require additional shipping charges before reshipment.

Once an order has been marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer. We are not responsible for stolen or missing packages after confirmed delivery.

Made-to-Order Products

Nearly all Splash of Mahj & Color Co. products are custom made to order.

Because your item is produced specifically for you, all sales are considered custom orders.

For this reason, we do not accept cancellations after production has begun.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the custom nature of our products:

All sales are final.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Buyer remorse

  • Ordering the wrong item

  • Color preference

  • Shipping delays outside our control

  • Slight sizing variations

  • Minor placement differences inherent in the production process

Refunds are only considered if:

  • The incorrect item was received.

  • The item arrives with a verified manufacturing defect.

  • The item arrives damaged in transit.

Claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery and include clear photographs of:

  • The product

  • The packaging

  • The shipping label

  • The issue being reported

Failure to provide photographs may delay or prevent claim approval.

Product Appearance

Every effort is made to accurately display product colors and artwork.

However, actual colors may vary due to:

  • Monitor settings

  • Mobile device displays

  • Screen brightness

  • Printing processes

  • Material textures

These variations are considered normal and are not considered manufacturing defects.

Many of our collections intentionally feature watercolor, vintage, distressed, artistic, or painterly effects. These design characteristics are intentional and should not be considered printing flaws.

Mahjong Tile Warranty

We proudly stand behind the quality of our tile sets.

We will replace individual tiles for verified manufacturing defects, including:

  • Misprinted tiles

  • Inverted or incorrect designs

  • Printing defects

  • Missing tiles

  • Incorrect tile types

  • Manufacturing damage

Normal wear, accidental damage, improper storage, dropping tiles, misuse, or damage occurring after delivery are not covered.

Intellectual Property

All artwork, graphics, product designs, photography, website content, logos, product names, and original designs are the exclusive intellectual property of Splash of Mahj & Color Co.

No artwork may be copied, reproduced, altered, distributed, manufactured, or used commercially without written permission.

Unauthorized reproduction of our artwork may result in legal action.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Splash of Mahj & Color Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the purchase or use of our products.

Our maximum liability shall never exceed the purchase price of the item ordered.

Order Changes

Because production begins quickly, requests to modify orders cannot be guaranteed.

If you need assistance, please contact us immediately after placing your order.

Chargebacks

If there is an issue with your order, we encourage customers to contact us directly so we may work toward a resolution.

Initiating a chargeback without first allowing us the opportunity to resolve a legitimate concern may delay future purchases and could result in additional documentation being submitted to your financial institution.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
