Hi there, welcome to Splash Of Mahj And Color, Co. established in 2025. With my background as a seasoned interior decorator and graphic designer, I created this vibrant brand from my love of globally inspired design, bold patterns, and visual storytelling and my new found love in learning to play Mahjong with mah ladies.
Each piece is a blend of cultural influence and modern style, crafted with care and originality. Whether you're dressing up your home or adding flair to your everyday life, Splash of Color celebrates color, heritage, and personality through thoughtful, artful design.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are your products mass produced?
No. All Splash of Mahj And Color products are made to order, meaning each item is crafted just for you once your order is placed. This ensures we maintain a boutique, intentional feel—never mass produced. We work with various partners to help bring our designs to market.

Production & Shipping Information
All Mahjong Mats and Mahjong Tiles are custom made to order. Our current estimated production and delivery time is approximately 30 business days from the date your order is placed.
Affiliate Code Orders: To keep our affiliate program thriving while continuing to offer you exclusive savings, all Mat and Tile orders placed using an affiliate discount code are shipped via ocean freight. With rising international shipping costs, affiliate commissions, and promotional discounts, this helps us maintain the quality of our products without increasing prices. Thank you for supporting our small business and allowing approximately 25–30 business days for your custom order to arrive.
To continue offering exceptional quality while keeping our pricing as affordable as possible, we have transitioned to ocean freight rather than air shipping. Rising production, shipping, and operating costs have made air freight unsustainable without significantly increasing our prices.
As part of this change, all standard Mahjong mats will now arrive rolled, helping ensure they are ready to enjoy right out of the box without fold creases. Round Mahjong mats are the exception and will continue to ship folded due to their oversized dimensions. We hope to offer rolled shipping for round mats in the future as logistics improve.
Please note that international shipments are subject to customs clearance in the destination country. While most orders move through customs without issue, clearance times are outside of our control. Splash of Mahj & Color Co. is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, customs processing, port congestion, weather events, carrier delays, or other transportation disruptions once your shipment is in transit. Additional delays may also occur during peak holiday seasons.
We proudly partner with a trusted overseas manufacturing facility that specializes in premium Mahjong products and produces our exclusive custom-designed Mahjong mats and tiles to our specifications. While our manufacturing partner also operates a U.S. facility, the specialized equipment used to create our custom Mahjong collections is located in their primary production facility in China, allowing us to deliver the quality, craftsmanship, and unique designs our customers have come to expect.
Who designs your products?
Every design is original to Splash of Mahj And Color, created by our founder and lead designer. We pride ourselves on offering unique patterns and artwork you won’t find anywhere else.
Where are your products made?
We partner with several trusted printing partners in the USA and around the globe. This allows us to offer a diverse selection of products while maintaining the artistic integrity and quality Splash of Mahj And Color is known for. We use our global partner for our mahjong mats to bring the highest quality standard in the mahjong community.
Can I return or exchange an item?
Because all items are made to order, all sales are final. However, if your item arrives damaged-defective or with a printing defect, we will gladly offer a replacement, refund or store credit. Please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos of the issue. Your photos need to show the entire product, and then close up shots of the issue. Thank you.
Disclaimer: Watercolor designs naturally feature soft edges, subtle variations, and organic blending. They may not have sharp, crisp lines or uniform color application. This is a normal characteristic of the medium and part of its artistic style.
What if I change my mind after ordering?
Unfortunately, since your order is created just for you, we only offer cancellations within two hours of ordering. We work on an automated system and there is no way to stop the process once production begins. Please be sure to double-check sizes, colors, and product details before checking out. Once the time has passed for cancellation and production has begun, there is absolutely no canceling your order.
How should I care for my items?
Care instructions are provided with each product and are also available in individual product listings. To ensure longevity, we recommend following these instructions carefully.
